September Pupil Transfer 2009

As in previous years, we are offering to provide all LAs with early estimates of pupil, school and LA performance based on pupils transferring school in September 2009.

A finalised September transfer list can be sent to FFT for processing any time from September up until 13th November 2009. The sooner you can provide us with basic pupil data, the quicker it will be available to your LA and schools.

FFTLive 3.0 released

FFT Live 3.0 provides Schools and Local Authorities with a range of online reports to support target setting and self evaluation. FFT have significantly extended the range of reports available to schools and many reports are now available at school, group and individual pupil level.

The move to online pupil level data is a significant step forward and should allow more teachers to gain direct access to pupil data. We believe this is vitally important as the effective use of pupil level data in the classroom can have the greatest impact on pupil and school improvement.

If you already use FFT Live, you will also find that the new version has some welcome improvements to the site including:

• Improved look and feel.
• Additional reporting functionality.
• Improved exporting and printing
• Online access to guidance and help.
